Frequently Asked Questions
-
What conditions do you treat?
We treat a wide range of issues including sports injuries, back and neck pain, muscle tightness, joint pain, post-surgery rehabilitation, and everyday aches from work or lifestyle.
If you’re in pain or something doesn’t feel right, we can assess it and guide you on the best course of treatment.
Do I need to be an athlete to book?
Not at all.
While we work with professional and semi-professional athletes, most of our clients are everyday people dealing with pain, stiffness, or injuries from work, gym, or daily life.
Do I need a referral?
No — you can book directly with us without a referral.
-
All of our therapists are fully qualified, experienced, and trained to deliver the same high standard of care — so you’re in safe hands no matter who you book with.
Each member of our team brings their own strengths and experience, particularly from working in professional sport and clinical practice, but they all follow the same approach:
Identify the root cause
Treat it effectively
Help you recover and stay pain-free
If you’re unsure who to choose, don’t worry — we’ll make sure you’re matched with the right therapist based on your injury, goals, and availability.
The most important thing is getting started — not waiting for a specific person.
Need to be seen quickly?
Booking with the next available therapist often means you can be treated sooner and start your recovery faster. -
What happens during my first session?
Your first session includes:
A full assessment of your injury or pain
Hands-on treatment to reduce discomfort
A clear explanation of what’s causing the issue
A personalised rehab plan to help you recover
You’ll leave knowing exactly what’s wrong and what you need to do next.
How long is a session?
Sessions typically last between 45–60 minutes, depending on your needs.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily and gives access to the area being treated (e.g. shorts for lower body, t-shirt/vest for upper body).
Will treatment hurt?
Some techniques can feel slightly uncomfortable, especially if muscles are tight or injured, but treatment is always adapted to your tolerance. We aim to make sessions effective while keeping you as comfortable as possible.
-
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your condition, but many clients start to feel improvement within the first few sessions.
After your assessment, we’ll give you a clear plan so you know what to expect. We pride ourselves on only bringing you back in for a follow-up appointment if absolutely necessary, we will never put a number of appointments to your recovery.
How quickly will I see results?
Many clients notice improvements after their first session, with more significant progress over the following treatments.
The sooner you start, the quicker we can help you recover. Recovery is a process, not a quick fix.
Will the problem come back?
Our focus is not just short-term relief — we aim to fix the root cause and give you the tools to prevent the issue from returning.
-
What treatments do you use?
We use a combination of:
Hands-on therapy (sports massage, soft tissue work)
Joint mobilisation
Rehabilitation exercises
Acupuncture & dry needling
Cupping therapy
Shockwave or advanced treatments where appropriate
All treatments are tailored specifically to you.
Do you only offer sports massage?
No — while sports massage is one part of what we do, our approach goes much further.
We combine treatment with rehabilitation and expert guidance to deliver long-term results.
-
Where are you located?
We are based in Farnborough, within Jetts 24H Gym. Full address details and directions can be found on our contact page.
Is there parking available?
Yes - due to our town centre location there are several car parks surrounding us. We recommend parking in The Mead multistorey car-park as we can validate your parking ticket giving you up to 2 hours free parking.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book quickly and easily online via our booking system.
What if I’m not sure what’s wrong?
That’s completely fine — that’s exactly what we’re here for.
If something feels off, painful, or isn’t improving, we’ll assess it properly and guide you on the best way forward.
Don’t Wait for It to Get Worse
The sooner you start treatment, the quicker you recover.
